Ornithologists recommend hanging three little owl nest boxes in close proximity to each other, as these are necessary for their future young, as food caches, etc. This greatly increases their chances of survival.

Installation:

Suitable for virtually all tree species except cherry trees, as the harvest season coincides with the nesting season for cherry trees. The little owl nesting box is placed on a branch section that is as horizontal as possible and secured to the branch using the four galvanized perforated strips and our special Schwegler aluminum nails.

In pollarded trees, the tubes can also be placed and secured in the "head." The entrance for the animals faces the trunk side of the respective tree.

The entry segment is completely removable, ensuring very good access for cleaning and inspection from the front of the tube.
