Barn owls are extremely synanthropic species, always living and breeding in close proximity to humans. Like the common kestrel, the barn owl is an important natural predator of field mice, voles, and rats.
Bedding :
Faster establishment is achieved by applying bark mulch and coarse wood shavings as a base.
Installation:
Suitable for all types of buildings such as barns, industrial buildings, church towers, etc. Since the nesting box cannot be installed directly outdoors, it should be anchored to the inside of the building. Only an opening in front of the entrance hole needs to be kept clear to the outside.
