The name of the yeast strains refers to their origin. They were isolated from the strains found there and are intended to contribute their beneficial properties during fermentation.

Of course, it is not possible to produce the respective wine type with these breeds (i.e., to make port wine with port wine yeast and apple juice), but rather one tries to use the good qualities of the breed to give the respective juice the optimal transformation.

The bottles can be opened once and should not be stored. You can safely add more pure yeast culture to the fermentation vessel; you don't need to calculate the exact amount for a smaller quantity.
