Facade nest for house martins No. 11
To enable house martins to breed successfully on facade surfaces with and without roof overhangs, the "House Martin Facade Nest No. 11" was developed and successfully deployed.
The unique, fashionable design of the nesting aid is sure to be a visual enhancement to our cities and communities.
Installation:
Ideally suited for exposed, uncovered facades and directly under eaves. Mounting is achieved using two 10mm screws and wall plugs. Stainless steel mounting hardware is included. House martins naturally never nest inside buildings, but always outdoors. Please ensure the window is on a side sheltered from the prevailing weather.
Mounting height: 2 m and above. Ensure unobstructed take-off and landing areas.
Cleaning & inspection:
Cleaning is recommended to check for possible parasite infestation. Both nests can be easily removed from the base by loosening the respective nest securing screws.
