The particularly lightweight nesting box is ideally suited for integration into thermal insulation composite systems on building exterior walls.
The protruding landing ring makes it very easy to plaster over the box, so that only the entrance remains visible after completion.
Its special structure allows animals to land safely even on smooth facade surfaces.
Installation / Assembly:
Suitable for mounting on the exterior facades of all types of buildings. The box can be mounted with the entrance hole on the left or right.
Under the roof (or near it) from a height of 5 m upwards on sides sheltered from the weather.
When installing, please ensure there are unobstructed entry and exit points below the entrance hole.
Grouping several boxes is highly recommended due to the colony behavior of the common swift.
Cleaning & inspection:
A cleaning opening was deliberately omitted, as it is not absolutely necessary when occupied by swifts.
