Professional insect net made of woven polyethylene with very tight meshes of 0.27 mm x 0.77 mm.
Protects vegetables from caterpillars, root flies, cabbage root flies, leaf miners, whiteflies, aphids and California flower thrips.
The fabric is translucent and also protects against driving rain and hail. Insect netting is an ecological alternative to chemical pesticides. For covering, the fabric is loosely laid over the vegetables immediately after sowing and buried all around. A growth-promoting microclimate develops under the netting.
