Automatically keeps water pipes frost-free.
Fully pre-assembled, including an energy-saving thermostat. The frost protection heating cable consists of a 2 m long connection cable with a plug, which is connected to the heating cable via a thermostat and is ready for immediate use.
In combination with insulation, these heating cables provide frost protection down to -40° Celsius. Suitable for plastic (aluminum foil recommended) or metal water pipes, up to a maximum diameter of 38 mm. The heating cables and thermostat are attached to the water pipe using insulating tape or cable ties. The frost protection heating cable switches on automatically (at approximately +3°C) as soon as the water pipe is at risk of freezing.
