Large maternity roost specifically designed for small bats. This large bat roost is an addition to the 1FD bat roost with a double front wall and is used once larger populations have developed. Equipped with a narrow, anatomically shaped entrance, proven effective for this type of roost, it prevents larger bats, birds, dormice, and mice from entering. Smaller species, such as the whiskered bat, Daubenton's bat, common pipistrelle, and Nathusius' pipistrelle, etc., can raise their young undisturbed in larger groups. The interior of the roost is precisely designed for this purpose.
Suspension:
The narrowed entrance largely reduces the risk of birds entering. Tree- and forest-friendly installation using aluminum nails and suspension blocks.
