The bat box 1 FF, which can be used even on extremely steep slopes, is maintenance-free, meaning it does not require cleaning. Animal droppings fall out through the bottom opening of the box. The box can also be opened for inspection purposes. To compensate for temperature fluctuations in spring and autumn, this type 1 FF is equipped with a roughened wooden back panel made of durable wood. This allows the animals to choose between the cooler wood-concrete or the warmer wooden wall, depending on their individual climatic preferences.
