If access to existing bat roosts is not required or a closed unit is desired, the 1FE can be equipped with an additional back wall. This wall is made of the same proven wood-concrete material as the 1FE itself. A hanging board made of natural wood is also attached to create a suitable crevice roost inside. The grooves in the board, combined with the roughened surface texture, make the roost readily accepted by bats.
Easy assembly
The 1FE is placed on the back wall and both are either anchored together with just 2 screws or mortared in together.
