SCHWEGLER has developed the versatile 1GS arched stone for effective bat protection. It creates an ideal roosting spot on smooth walls with minimal effort and is highly effective. This provides the best conditions for bats to settle and increase their populations.
Summer roost: The 1GS vaulted stone is also excellent as a summer roost. Individual male whiskered bats and small groups of Daubenton's bats often roost at open water crossings and under bridges. It offers them and other bats an ideal daytime roost.
Winter quarters: The 1GS vaulted stone is ideally suited for housing a large number of animals when installed in frost-protected areas. Its internal height and volume have been precisely tailored to the demanding requirements of hibernating bats.
Installation:
The 1GS vault block is attached using stainless steel brackets. The stepless adjustment range of the included mounting brackets allows for easy installation in almost any structure, such as ceilings, straight walls, and even round tunnel cross-sections. Suitable locations include not only cellars, old bunkers, and hydraulic structures, but also attics and unheated roofs. The 1GS vault block can, of course, also be integrated into masonry, for example, into vaulted walls or concrete ceilings. Installing the 1GS vault block in undisturbed, draft-free areas and a humid environment ensures the success of this protective measure.
Cleaning & inspection:
Very easy inspection, from below with a flashlight. Cleaning is not necessary.

The 1GS vault block absorbs existing moisture and adapts to optimal climatic conditions.
