The nesting box insert, with its 2HW and 1N nesting cavities designed to protect against small predators, is fully effective. Due to the amount of light penetrating the nesting box, the birds always build their nests in the rear section.
Another advantage of using a breeding chamber is that the parent animals can care for their young well from the anteroom without bringing moisture into the nesting cavity.
