This drinking trough is also made of high-quality plastic and is UV-resistant.
The small drinking trough works as follows: when drinking, the animal pushes its yellow tongue downwards to get water; chickens learn this very quickly!
Caution: This drinking system is only suitable for use with low water pressure . If you wish to connect the drinking system to high water pressure (for example, directly to the water main), a pressure equalization box with a float valve must be used (item number: 4712). The maximum permissible water pressure is that which occurs when there is a height difference of 40 cm between the drinking bowl and the water level in the reservoir with the float valve.
