Every year, hundreds to thousands of frogs, toads, newts, and salamanders die off when they have to cross roads on their migration to their breeding ponds. The woven foil offers several advantages, such as its light weight. This prevents it from billowing in the wind and from deforming due to sunlight. The mesh is so fine that newts and similar creatures cannot slip through. The foil can be attached to the height-adjustable mounting using the integrated button strip. Assembly instructions are included.
Installation:
The animals are guided along our amphibian protection fence to a collection container. Since these collection buckets are buried in the ground, the amphibians fall into them. From there, the animals are collected, taken to the other side of the road, and released near their breeding ponds.
