Measuring device for determining the alcohol content in distillates according to the density principle.
This requires a measuring cylinder, either stationary or matched to the length of the measuring spindle.
Measuring range: 0 – 100 vol. percent.
With built-in thermometer and correction data for deviations in measurement temperature of 20 °C.
Application: Carefully immerse the hydrometer in a 250 ml graduated cylinder containing the distillate until it floats freely. Read the value in volume percent (% vol) at the point where the liquid intersects the hydrometer. The alcoholmeter with thermometer displays the correction value (measured at 20°C) on the thermometer scale . Caution: The thermometer must not exceed 40°C. reach or be exposed to a certain temperature
