A negative fining agent, made from seaweed, for removing certain cloudiness in fruit wines.
Rosehip and gooseberry wines in particular are treated with agar-agar.

Dosage: Depending on the turbidity, between 0.5 and 2 g per 10 liters.
It is recommended to conduct a preliminary test.
