Acidometer Set (Total Acidity)
The complete set for determining the acidity level in wines or juices
Measurement of total acidity in juice or wine (not for vinegar) by titration.
For this, juice or wine is poured into a measuring cylinder with scale divisions up to the mark (10 ml).
Then, blue lye is added in small steps.
The alkali neutralizes the acid.
The neutral point is indicated by a color change from green to blue.
The fill level is then read on the scale. This is the acid value in grams or parts per thousand per liter.
The set consists of:
- 1 acid measuring cylinder
- 250 ml Titrovin blue lye
- drip stopper
- neutral litmus paper

Titrovin Blue Lye CAUTION:
- H315 Causes skin irritation.
- H319 Causes serious eye irritation.
- P302+P352 IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water.
